The Concept

In order to achieve an interesting silhouette, which could later assist with the mannequin experimentation, I took photographs of the female silhouette in a variation of unusual poses, using a variety of interesting objects. I then created outlines of the silhouettes within the photographs, and later, filled in the outlines with various graphical interpretations.  All the experimentations within this unit were conducted directly on a mannequin, through the application of paper in variation of ways, as well as the use of wire, fusing and other means for creating a structural shape.  As a result, I managed to come up with several unexpected outcomes, one of which culminated into my final outcome.
